Home Groups

All those who worship at St George’s church are encouraged to join one of our home groups.

Home groups meet alternate weeks and we have groups on Monday afternoons and evenings, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. For more information, contact Tony Solway on wardentony@stgeorgesrugby.org.uk

We are hosting a new home group on a Tuesday afternoon (2pm). Next meeting will be on Tuesday 16th April 2024. If you would like further information please speak to Mary Pettifer or contact 07743 585140.

Men’s Chat

St. George's has a small informal group of men who meet to discuss everything from politics to religion, on Thursday evenings, every month or so, at the Bungalow. All men are welcome to join.
For more information:  contact Phil Hemsley

Drop-in Stitches

This group meets to knit, stitch and chat over a cup of tea on the last Tuesday of each month, at St. George's Church (in the bungalow???) from 2pm to 4pm. All welcome.

Tea & Chat

An informal 'tea and chat' meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 2pm to 4pm, in the bungalow, alongside the church. All are welcome. Cost £1 including refreshments.

Monthly Coffee Mornings

On every 2nd Saturday of the month there is a coffee morning and table-top sale in the church hall, from 10.30am to 12.00pm

Soup & Social Meals

St George’s will be offering a warm space again this winter, once a month on a Sunday. This time we will provide tea, coffee and biscuits as well as soup and bread. This is offered free of charge although you may make a donation on the day should you wish.
